Getting to know ATB Invoicing

ATB Invoicing is a self-serve tool for Alberta small businesses to create quotes and invoices, send them to customers, and accept payments.

Who ATB Invoicing is for

ATB Invoicing is designed for Alberta small businesses that bill other businesses or individual clients and want a simple, low-friction way to get paid. It integrates seamlessly with ATB’s other business tools and uses your existing ATB sign-in.

What you can do

  • Manage customer profiles: Keep a list of your customers with contact details, addresses, and tags. Customize payment methods and terms unique to each customer.
  • Create quotes and invoices: Draft quotes and invoices with line items, discounts, shipping, taxes, and internal notes.
  • Save time with saved items and templates: Save individual line items, discounts, shipping fees, or customer notes to build invoices in seconds. You can also duplicate existing quotes and invoices or save complete templates to bill common projects instantly.
  • Flexible delivery: Send quotes and invoices directly through the app via text or email, or share them yourself using a downloadable PDF or link.
  • Quote approval: Clients can accept or reject quotes online. Accepted quotes automatically convert into draft invoices.
  • Schedule sends: Draft invoices now and preschedule them to send at a later date.
  • Track payment status: Monitor each invoice as it moves from Draft to Sent, Viewed, and Paid.
  • Flexible payment collection: Accept payments through Interac e-Transfer® requests, direct deposit, cash, or cheque.
  • Automate reminders and receipts: Automatically send friendly reminders for outstanding quotes and invoices, and instantly email receipts once payments are recorded.
  • Dashboard insights: View outstanding balances, overdue invoices, and total GST collected—all in one place.
  • Export data for record keeping: Download your invoicing data to easily maintain records and meet business compliance requirements.
